From the Venice to the Venice Power model: upgrade your stair-climbing chair with motorisation.
Motor, track movement system, control unit to be mounted on the extendable carrying handle, battery, and battery charger. This kit allows you to upgrade the basic model of the Venice chair to the motorised Venice Power model. This makes it incredibly easy to transport patients (even bariatric patients) up and down the stairs!
Why to choose the motorisation kit for the Venice model chair
It makes it safer to transport patients up and down stairs. Moving patients up and down stairs is a delicate operation. In order to ensure greater safety for patients and operators, we've equipped the kit with a pneumatic opening system, which prevents the chair from accidentally opening and closing; a safety brake that slows the chair's descent in the event of a low or malfunctioning battery; and an automatic brake system for locking the chair in place during the ascent or descent, if necessary.
You choose the movement speed. In addition to letting you choose between two preset speeds, both in ascent and descent, the motorisation kit also allows you to adjust the ascent and descent speed at any given time, as required.
It allows patients to be transported up and down stairs under any conditions. We have included specific components in the kit to deal with any situation: are the stairs poorly lit, or equipped with a timed lighting system? It comes with safety lights. Is it raining? No problem: the controller is resistant to water infiltrations.
